I’m Back!

Hello!

I’m back from the dead and gearing up to push my internet marketing to a new level this coming year!

The last three months have been ready crazy but I’m ready to get back into the swing of things.

Let me tell you about one project I have been working on lately…

I had a micro adsense site that I had been working on for some time now. It is ranked on the first page for my main keyword, and had been bringing in anywhere from $20 to $50 per month in adsense revenue, not bad.

I recently added an affiliate product to the site to see if the site could produce more revenue other than adsense. To my delight, the site has been making over $200 per month for the last two months, not including adsense money. Now that I am seeing great results, I have been working on this site each day to get a better ranking as well as adding internal pages with more content.

I will keep you posted on my progress with this particular site.

Hey everyone,

A lot has been going on since I last posted at the end of April. Summer is here, and it is flying by! As you know I had been working on a few projects like Micro Niche Sites as well as a membership site, which was what I was blogging the most about. I have since taken on a few other small money making projects which I will tell you about.

As you know google has updated their algorithms recently, and everyone is seeing their sites drop in ranking. There is now a mass frenzy on how to get their ranking back up and get back onto the first page of google. Since most of my sites have a decent amount of content and backlinks, I haven’t seen much drop in any of them. I also don’t have a hundred niche sites, more like twenty. I am still adding fresh content to them a little bit at a time and doing all the other necessary things to keep them making money. There are about two or three sites I have that I think could be authority sites, so I am working out a game plan for those.

New things I have been working on are Amazon Niche Sites. These are websites using the wordpress plugin WPZonBuilder. I have three sites that I’ve setup, and at least one of them has been making sales. I have yet to do any backlinking, article marketing, social bookmarking, adwords campaigns, or anything else for that matter. I think once I get moving on that, the page rank will be even higher and they will bring in more sales.

Another project I have been working on is a niche gaming site. A few friends of mine are big gamers, and they wanted to start a website on a specific game. I am doing a lot of content writing while they are doing all the short videos to post on the site. This project is relatively new and we’re not seeing a lot of visitors, but we have good content so it will be just a matter of time. I also setup a twitter account for this site and I post a tip every few days to it.

As before the Membership Site is on hold. I may just wrap it up as it is and sell it on flippa. I don’t have any members, but everything has been approved. I have written as well as video content for that site so whoever buys it will have something to start with as well as a list of keywords they can write articles about. I see how valuable a membership site can be if you are in a niche that you really love and love talking about, so this one should make someone pretty happy.

This has been the last few months in a nutshell. All of this should be incentive to write more blog postings here.

I can’t believe…

It’s been nearly a month since I last posted!

I have been working on my adsense sites lately. Most of them are coming along well, getting backlinks and moving higher up in the rankings. One site though, one of my highly profitable ones had been sandboxed by google. It looks like it had been clickbombed, at which point google dropped my ranking out of the top 100. I have been send it backlinks and now it is on page 3. It is my own fault though. When I first got the site setup it was on the first page with NO backlinks. I had done nothing other than put the site up with a handful of articles on it.

While I have been working on my adsense sites, the Micro Membership Site has been sitting idle. I am still working on article marketing and getting the affiliate page up and running. I do still however have my friend doing videos for the site each week so great video content is being created, but no official members to report – which is okay.

I plan on posting an a regular basis from here on out, like I was before. Keep coming back!

John Jonas & Outsourcing

I have been reading John Jonas’ blog and listening to his shot video clips on outsourcing work to the Philippines. While I have had some article work done by a woman from the Philippines, I am curious to see what you all think about it. I know John himself has a vested interest in outsourcing with two of his sites:

With OnlineJobs you sign up and search for Filipino people to hire and do your work to cut your total hours down. ReplaceMyself is a whole package/system (I am speculating, I have never used it) to get yourself set up, train your new workers, and all that jazz. It is a monthly membership, but you do get access to OnlineJobs.

Hit me up on twitter and tell me (briefly, 140 chars.) about your experiences with outsourcing to foreign countries. I have heard plenty of horror stories about outsourcing to India, that’s for sure. I’d like to know the good/bad, comments, questions, concerns…

MMS – Articles & Affiliate Page

It has been a little while since I last posted here. I am still working on writing articles on my MMS niche. In addition, since my product is going to be listed on Clickbank, I am working on writing an affiliate page with banners and links. Affiliates will be getting at least 50% commission per sign-up, per month for my product. I also have a friend that is doing some short 5 to 10 minute videos on my product for me, which will supplement the reports I have on my site as additional content.

I have also set another goal. I would like to have 20 new micro-adsense sites up and running within a months time. I have about five sites up and running right now but only a couple that have been worked out fully. They are all making money; some more than others but I won’t be greedy. I’ll tell you about the program, what the pro’s and con’s are, and what you can expect from what you are doing.  Keep your eyes peeled!

Why would you delete a successful Twitter account?

In case you haven’t heard, John Reese cuts his Twitter account of 25,000 followers because “it was getting clogged up”. What the heck is he talking about? That is just dumb. This guy is suppose to be a “guru” when it comes to marketing!

I hope people come to the realization that it was the wrong move to make and that no one follows suit.

To be quite honest, twitter is pretty easy to use and regulate in just a few minutes per day. I understand you will follow as well as have people following you that really serve no purpose. Either remove those people from your list or get over it, you are on the internet to make money. Plain and simple.

Think about it for a minute… Dell uses Twitter as a business tool to sell refurbished items, and they are making a killing with it. Even Starbucks has jumped on the Twitter bandwagon! There are plenty of small businesses out there that make use of twitter and in most cases it helps their bottom line. Yes there are accounts out there that just spam affiliate offers, but there are also accounts out there that provide quality information and a sprinkle of affiliate offers. Which one do you want to be?

So just because someone deems Twitter of little value doesn’t mean you have to be a lemming and jump. You find your own value in it.

Finally, Twitter is just another tool from your toolbox that enables you to connect with people. Use it accordingly and it will treat you well.

MMS – Article Writing

Now that I have my site setup properly and I am Clickbank approved it is time to start article marketing. I have a list of keywords and my fingers are fired up. I’m hoping to write at least 25 articles this week and then 25 more next week. Once that is done I’ll submit them to the directories and then try to have some syndicated.

On a side note, I have finally hired an article & content writer to write for my adsense sites. I have someone doing a 10 article trial, so we will see how that goes. I’ve also been picking up domains here and there for more adsense sites, so I should have plenty of work to dish out! I found my writer at odesk, and have had success at elance as well.

MMS – Clickbank Approved

After a handful of emails and adding various pieces of information to a few web pages, my Mini-Membership Site has been Clickbank approved. I’ve been working on some article marketing focusing on some keywords as usual. My twitter account for the MMS has over 800 followers, I am following around 1300 people, and am on 19 lists. I’ve been using hootsuite to make automated posts to my twitter account every few hours from tweets I have pre-written and saved, which is a really nice feature. That’s all for now.

MMS – Clickbank….

I have been emailing back and forth with someone at clickbank for the last few days to get my membership approved. I think I have given them all the information they will need, so I am just waiting to hear back now. I’ve started to begin article marketing for the site. Just getting all my ducks in a row to make a big push next week. Just another day down… keep on truckin.

MMS – Clickbank Continued.

Well, I am still waiting on Clickbank to approve my membership subscription. The course I am working through is taking a bit longer than I expected, however I am leaving no stone unturned. I checked my twitter account for the site and I am following over 1000 people and have over 500 followers. We will see how it works out the rest of the month.

I have been picking up domains here and there and putting them together using Xfactor’s Micro Niche Adsense Course. Definitely worth the month. I’m making a little money each day with just a couple sites and with all the hype out there for internet marketing information and products, this has been a proven money maker. I will get more in-depth about what and how I am doing it in another post later this week.
